When designing a filter cartridge dust removal equipment, we first need to determine whether it is material recovery, dust removal, or air purification. Xiamen R&J supports the following judgment: under material recovery and dust removal conditions, priority should be given to choosing a new type of shallow pleated (24mm) to replace the bag type pulse pleated long filter cartridge; In air purification industries and mines, traditional filter cartridges with large diameters and large filtration areas with deep folds (48mm) are more commonly used.
The installation form of filter cartridges can be designed according to different structures, usually divided into top mounted, side mounted, and bottom mounted. The new pulse pleated long filter cartridge is mostly installed vertically, which is conducive to the design of spraying method, suitable for industrial and mining areas with high dust concentration, and has better dust cleaning effect. Traditional self-cleaning filter cartridge dust collectors use more side mounted ones, and a few use flange structures to achieve vertical installation. Usually, it is a traditional large-diameter (such as 324,352) filter cartridge, which has the advantage of having a large filtration area; The disadvantage is that the pleats are too deep, the cleaning effect is poor, and it is easy to cause secondary cleaning. It is commonly used in places with low dust concentration.
The selection of filter materials needs to consider the following factors: dust concentration, temperature, moisture, acidity, alkalinity, conductivity, etc. Xiamen R&J are recommended to use polyester filter materials, high-temperature resistant PPS, and Aramid filter materials. They can also be used for anti-static, oil resistant, waterproof, flame retardant, and PTFE film covering treatment. Wood pulp fiber filter cartridges are only used in places with low dust concentration. Generally speaking, the wind speed of ordinary polyester filter cartridges is 1m/min, while the wind speed of wood pulp fiber filter cartridges is below 0.6m/min. The service life of polyester filter cartridges is one year, while the service life of wood pulp fiber filter cartridges is mostly six months.
